The ICITA secretariat would like to make this announcement to inform that the 6th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications (ICITA 2009) will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 9 to 12 November 2009.
The conference is an annual event and is recognized as one of the major series of conferences in Information Technology. ICITA continues to retain its tradition of high quality conference and will open up an opportunity for academics and industrial professionals worldwide to exchange their knowledge of the state-of-the-art research and development in information technology and applications, and to establish and extend professional networks.
The conference site Hanoi, as the charming Vietnamese capital, preserves the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. It retains buildings from the eleventh-century court of its founding father King Ly Thai To, most notably the Temple of Literature, and some of the streets in the Old Quarter still trade in the same speciality goods they dealt in 500 years ago.
